The present invention relates to an air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle. An objective of the present invention is to prevent a refrigerant pressure decrease phenomenon to a specific pressure or below the specific pressure by an operation of a cooling fan in a low load condition by improving control logic of the cooling fan to prevent a refrigerant pressure decrease to the specific pressure or below the specific pressure in the low load condition and refrigerant leakage noise of an expansion valve caused by the refrigerant pressure decrease. To achieve the objective, the air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle comprises: an expansion valve to expand a high pressure refrigerant introduced by the condenser to a low pressure to allow the refrigerant to flow into a vaporizer; and a cooling fan to cool the condenser. The cooling fan is turned on when a refrigerant pressure on a condenser side rises to an upper limit value or above the upper limit value. The air conditioning apparatus for a vehicle further comprises a control unit to actively change the upper limit value to turn on the cooling fan in accordance with a load of the vaporizer. 본 발명은 차량용 공조장치에 관한 것으로, 냉각팬의 제어로직을 개선함으로써, 저부하 조건에서의 냉각팬 작동에 의한 "특정압력" 이하로의 "냉매 압력 저하현상"을 방지하고, 이를 통해, 저부하 조건에서의 "특정압력" 이하로의 "냉매 압력 저하"와, 그로 인한 팽창밸브의 "냉매누설소음" 발생을 원천적으로 방지할 수 있도록 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 발명은, 응축기에서 도입된 고압냉매를 저압으로 팽창시켜 증발기로 유입시키는 팽창밸브와, 응축기를 냉각시키는 냉각팬을 구비하는 차량용 공조장치에 있어서, 냉각팬은, 응축기측의 냉매압력이 상한치 이상으로 상승할 시에 온(ON)되며; 증발기의 부하에 따라 냉각팬을 온(ON)시키기 위한 상한치를 능동적으로 가변시키는 제어부를 더 구비한다.
