The present invention provides an inkjet recording device capable of preventing a user from wrongly controlling opening and closing of a valve to supply ink from an ink tank to a recording head. The ink jet recording device comprises: the recording head discharging the ink; an ink tank installed in a device main body, having an inlet to inject the ink supplied to the recording head wherein the ink tank accommodates the ink injected; a cover member capable of moving on a first position to prevent the inlet from being exposed, and a second position to expose the inlet; and the valve changed in between an open state capable of supplying the ink from the ink tank to the recording head, and a closed state of blocking the supply of the ink from the ink tank to the recording head. The valve is engaged with a movement of the cover member and is in an open state in a case where the cover member is located on the first position. The valve is in the closed state in a case where the cover member is located on the second position. 잉크 탱크로부터 기록 헤드에의 잉크 공급에 있어서의 밸브의 개폐 조작을, 유저가 오조작을 하는 것을 방지할 수 있는 잉크젯 기록장치를 제공한다. 이 잉크젯 기록장치는, 잉크를 토출하는 기록 헤드와, 장치본체에 설치되고, 상기 기록 헤드에 공급되는 잉크를 주입하기 위해 주입부를 갖고, 그 주입된 잉크를 수용하는 잉크 탱크와, 상기 주입부를 노출시키지 않기 위한 제1의 위치와 상기 주입부를 노출시키기 위한 제2의 위치에 이동가능한 커버 부재와, 상기 잉크 탱크로부터 상기 기록 헤드에 잉크를 공급 가능한 열린 상태와, 상기 잉크 탱크로부터 상기 기록 헤드에의 잉크의 공급을 차단하는 닫힌 상태간에 전환 가능한 밸브를 구비하고, 상기 밸브는, 상기 커버 부재의 이동과 연동하고, 상기 커버 부재가 제1의 위치에 있을 경우에 열린 상태에 있고, 상기 커버 부재가 제2의 위치에 있을 경우에 닫힌 상태에 있다.
