The present invention relates to a secondary battery for preventing battery cell swelling by sensing the displacement of a gas discharging unit, a secondary battery charging system, and a secondary battery manufacturing method, and particularly, the secondary battery includes the gas discharge unit which is located on one end of a sealing unit sealing an electrode assembly and induces the discharge of gas by weakening adhesive force in comparison with the other adhesive parts of the sealing unit and a sensing unit which generates an electrical signal by sensing the displacement generated in the gas discharge unit. 본 발명은 가스 배출부의 변위를 감지하여 배터리 셀 스웰링(battery cell swelling)을 방지하는 이차 전지, 이차 전지 충전 시스템 및 이차 전지 제조 방법에 관한 것으로서, 상세하게는, 전극 조립체를 밀봉하는 실링부의 일단에 위치하고 상기 실링부의 다른 접착 부분보다 접착력을 약하게 하여 가스 배출을 유도하는 가스 배출부 및 상기 가스 배출부에서 발생하는 변위를 감지하여 전기적 신호를 발생시키는 감지부를 포함하여 구성된다.
