The present invention relates to an organic electronic device and a manufacturing method thereof. The present invention provides the organic electronic device which has a thin thickness and a small bezel while preventing non-uniformity of brightness due to a voltage drop when a surface light source with a large area is formed. The organic electronic device includes: a base layer; an element unit which includes a first electrode layer, an organic layer, and a second electrode layer which are successively laminated, a metal cover film which is formed on the upper side of the element unit; a first electrode pad unit which is electrically connected to the first electrode layer; a second electrode pad unit which is electrically connected to the second electrode layer; a first conductive layer; and a second conductive layer. 본 출원은 유기전자장치 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 대면적 면광원을 형성함에 있어 전압 강하에 의한 휘도 불균일을 방지하면서도, 얇은 두께와 작은 베젤을 갖는 유기전자장치를 제공한다.
