The power factor correction device according to an aspect of the present invention comprises an AC power input part; a voltage doubler rectifying part connected to one end of the AC power input part and converting AC power outputted from the AC power input part to DC power; a power factor compensation buck converter connected to one end of the double voltage rectifying part and performing inrush current prevention and voltage drop; and a control part for controlling the switching operation of the power factor compensation buck converter.
