The present invention relates to an apparatus for treatment of carbon dioxide, which comprises: a carbon dioxide conversion unit in which gas to be treated containing carbon dioxide, sea water, and limestone are mixed to respond to each other; a limestone supply unit supplying limestone to the carbon dioxide conversion unit; a gas discharge unit discharging gas generated in the carbon dioxide conversion unit; and a concentrated water discharge unit discharging a liquid accommodated in the carbon dioxide conversion unit. According to an embodiment of the present invention, without using quicklime, limestone is used to reduce costs to treat carbon dioxide. 본 발명은 이산화탄소가 포함된 처리대상가스, 해수와 석회석이 혼합되어 반응하는 이산화탄소 변환부와, 상기 이산화탄소 변환부에 석회석을 공급하는 석회석 공급부와, 상기 이산화탄소 변환부에서 발생된 가스를 배출하는 가스 배출부 및, 상기 이산화탄소 변환부에 수용된 액체를 배출하는 농축수 배출부를 포함하여 구성되는 이산화탄소 처리장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면, 생석회를 사용하지 않고 석회석을 사용함으로써 이산화탄소를 처리하는 비용을 절감시킬 수 있다.
