Summary:The present invention relates to a method for controlling a belt-driven alternator starter (BAS) and, more specifically, to a method for controlling output torque and a power generation amount of a BAS while a normal signal is not inputted from a vehicle control device (CPU or VCU) by directly determining an engine operating condition of a hybrid vehicle. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the control method of a hybrid engine including a BAS, an inverter, and a belt for power transfer comprises: (a) an engine speed detection step of detecting an engine speed applied to a vehicle; (b) an operating condition determination step of analyzing the detected engine speed to determine whether a torque assist (TA) operating condition is satisfied; and (c) a control step of performing TA to control output torque of the vehicle if the TA operating condition is satisfied. Steps (a), (b), and (c) are set to be performed only if a normal signal is not inputted by a communication failure between communication devices controlling the inverter and the vehicle. 본 발명은 BAS(Belt-driven Alternator Starter)를 제어하는 방법에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 하이브리드(Hybrid) 차량의 엔진 가동 상태를 직접 판정하여 차량 통제장치(CPU나 VCU 등)로부터 정상신호가 입력되지 않는 상태에서도 BAS의 출력 토크 및 발전량을 제어하는 방법에 대한 발명이다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따르면 BAS(Belt-driven Alternator Starter), 인버터와 동력 전달용 벨트를 포함한 하이브리드(Hybrid) 엔진의 제어방법에 있어서, (a) 차량에 인가된 엔진속도를 검출하는 엔진속도 검출단계; (b) 검출된 엔진속도를 분석하여 TA(Torque Assist) 작동조건을 충족하는 지 여부를 판정하는 작동조건 판정단계; 및 (c) 상기 TA 작동조건이 충족된 경우, TA를 수행하여 차량의 출력토크를 제어하는 제어단계; 를 포함하되, 상기 (a), (b), (c) 단계는 인버터와 차량을 제어하는 통제장치 간의 통신장애로 인해 정상신호를 입력받지 못하는 경우에 한하여 수행되도록 설정된 BAS 제어방법을 제공한다.
