Summary:The present invention relates to an opening assist device for a sliding window which enables to open a window frame easily. The opening assist device for a sliding window comprises: a housing having a space therein; a pivoting member rotatably installed in the inner space of the housing; an arm installed adjacent to the pivoting member, rotated by rotation of the pivoting member, and projecting toward an inner side of a window frame adjacent to an end portion exposed to an outside of the housing; a locking member provided adjacent to the pivoting member and rotated by the pivoting member to be released from the locked state; and a cover coupled to the housing to block opening of the inner space of the housing. 본 발명은 창짝프레임의 개방이 용이하게 이루어질 수 있도록 한 미닫이창용 열림 보조장치에 관한 것으로, 내부에 공간이 형성된 하우징; 상기 하우징의 내부 공간에 회동 가능하게 설치되는 회동부재; 상기 회동부재에 인접 설치되어 상기 회동부재 회동에 의해 회동하여 상기 하우징 외측으로 노출되는 일단부가 인접하는 창틀프레임의 내측면 측으로 돌출되는 아암; 상기 회동부재에 인접 설치되어 상기 회동부재 회동에 의해 회동하여 잠금 상태로부터 해제되는 록킹부재; 상기 하우징에 결합하여 상기 하우징 내부 공간의 개방을 차단하는 커버;를 포함한다.
