Summary:The present invention relates to an interior material and a construction method thereof and, more specifically, relates to an interior material and a construction method, where an interior material is formed in a simple structure and able to be easily and quickly installed on or disassembled from a wall and more firmly installed in a manner that widens a contact area between the interior materials. To achieve the above-mentioned purpose, the present invention comprises: a lower board formed in a board shape; and an upper board attached to an upper surface of the lower board, wherein the interior material is formed in the reverse shape of S and has an upper protrusion formed to protrude from an upper side thereof and a lower protrusion formed to protrude from a lower side thereof. 본 발명은 내장재 및 내장재 시공방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 내장재가 단순한 구조로 형성되면서도, 벽면에 내장재를 설치와 해체가 용이하면서도 신속하게 할 수 있으며, 내장재 간의 접합면적이 넓어지도록 하여 내장재를 보다 견고하게 설치할 수 있는 내장재 및 내장재 시공방법에 관한 것이다. 상기한 목적을 달성하기 위한 본 발명은 판형상으로 이루어지는 하판과, 상기 하판의 상면에 부착되는 상판으로 이루어지고, 상기 내장재는 'ㄹ'자 형상으로 형성되되, 내장재의 상부 일측에는 상부 돌출부가 돌출형성되고, 하부 타측에는 하부 돌출부가 돌출 형성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
