Summary:The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of a calcium hydroxide with a high specific surface area using an ethylene glycol as a hydration retarder. The manufacturing method of the present invention goes through dry-mixing of the ethylene glycol and quicklime powder, granulates the quicklime powder, and provides a proper induction period, thereby performing uniform hydration reaction. The manufacturing method of the present invention performs drying at a high temperature after completing the hydration reaction, thereby improving the specific surface area of the calcium hydroxide remarkably. Furthermore, the manufacturing method of the present invention goes through the dry hydration reaction which does not require a crushing process for manufacturing the powder products of calcium hydroxide, thereby improving productivity of the products and energy efficiency. 본 발명은 수화반응 지연제로서 에틸렌글리콜을 사용한 고비표면적 수산화칼슘의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 제조방법은 에틸렌글리콜과 생석회 분말을 건식혼합함으로서 생석회 분말을 입자화하여 적절한 유도기를 부여하므로 균등한 수화반응을 수행하는 효과가 있으며, 상기 수화반응이 완료한 후에 고온건조를 수행하여 수산화칼슘의 비표면적을 현저히 향상시키는 효과가 있다. 또한, 본 발명의 제조방법은 건식수화반응을 사용하므로 수산화칼슘 분말제품의 제조를 위한 분쇄공정이 필요치 않아 제품의 생산성 및 에너지효율을 향상시키는 효과가 있다.
