Summary:A system for generating a haptic effect generates a driving period signal including a driving period and a monitoring period. The driving period includes a plurality of driving pulses based on the haptic effect. The system applies the driving pulses to a resonant actuator during the driving period and receives signals corresponding to the position of a mass in the actuator from the resonant actuator during the monitoring period. So, effective haptic feedback can be provided to a user interface. 햅틱 효과를 생성하는 시스템은 구동 기간 및 모니터링 기간을 포함하는 구동 주기 신호를 생성한다. 구동 기간은, 햅틱 효과에 기초하는 복수의 구동 펄스들을 포함한다. 이 시스템은, 구동 기간 동안에는, 구동 펄스들을 공진 액츄에이터에 인가하고, 모니터링 기간 동안에는, 공진 액츄에이터로부터 이 액츄에이터 내의 매스(mass)의 위치에 대응하는 신호를 수신한다.
