Summary:An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present invention includes a plurality of microphones. The electronic device includes a memory which stores a first designated time set for forming a beam in a first direction by using the plurality of microphones. The electronic device includes a processor which is functionally connected to the plurality of microphones. The processor receives a voice through the plurality of microphones, determines a direction corresponding to the voice, and is set to connect the voice to a second designated time as a beam is formed in a second direction by using the plurality of microphones, if the direction is the second direction. Accordingly, the present invention can form a virtual beam region in a direction except an existing beam former-oriented direction. 본 발명의 다양한 실시예에 따른 전자 장치는 복수의 마이크들을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 복수의 마이크들을 이용하여 제1 방향으로 빔을 형성하기 위해 설정된 제1 지정된 시간을 저장하는 메모리를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 복수의 마이크들과 기능적으로 연결된 프로세서를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 프로세서는 상기 복수의 마이크들을 통해 음을 수신하고, 상기 음에 대응하는 방향을 결정하며, 상기 방향이 제2 방향인 경우, 마치 상기 복수의 마이크들을 이용하여 상기 제2 방향으로 빔을 형성한 것처럼 상기 음에 제2 지정된 시간을 연관시키도록 설정될 수 있다.
