The present invention provides a laundry treating apparatus capable of informing a user that a door opens an input unit in case the door opens the inlet while a drawer is inserted into a cabinet. According to the present invention, the laundry treating apparatus includes: a cabinet having an inlet; the drawer which can be withdrawn from the cabinet through the inlet; a through hole penetrating the upper surface of the drawer; a tub installed in the drawer and providing a space storing water; the input unit penetrating the upper surface of the tub and located in the lower part of the through hole; a drum installed in the tub to rotate and accommodating laundry provided to the input unit; the door installed in either the drawer or the tub and opening and closing the input unit; and a door sensing unit determining whether the door opens the input unit while the drawer is inserted into the cabinet. 본 발명은 출입구가 구비된 캐비닛, 상기 출입구를 통해 상기 캐비닛에서 인출 가능한 드로워, 상기 드로워의 상부면을 관통하여 구비되는 관통홀, 상기 드로워 내부에 구비되어 물이 저장되는 공간을 제공하는 터브, 상기 터브의 상부면을 관통하도록 구비되며, 상기 관통홀의 하부에 위치된 투입구, 상기 터브 내부에 회전 가능하게 구비되며, 상기 투입구로 공급되는 의류가 수용되는 드럼, 상기 드로워 또는 상기 터브 중 어느 하나에 구비되어 상기 투입구를 개폐하는 도어, 상기 드로워가 상기 캐비닛 내부에 삽입된 상태에서 상기 도어가 상기 투입구를 개방했는지 여부를 판단하는 도어 감지부를 더 포함하는 의류처리장치에 관한 것이다.
