Each lens have a different level or degree of stabilization which is characterized by a thickness differential between a thickness of a stabilization zone and a thickness of a non-stabilization zone. 콘택트 렌즈들의 시스템은 적어도 2개의 콘택트 렌즈들을 포함하고, 각각의 렌즈는 비회전 대칭 눈 수차에 대한 시력 교정을 갖는다. 각각의 렌즈는 안정화 구역의 두께와 비안정화 구역의 두께 사이의 두께 차이에 의해 특징지어지는 상이한 안정화 수준 또는 정도를 갖는다.
