The present disclosure relates to a 5G or pre-5G communication system which will be provided to support a higher data transmission rate after a 4G communication system, such as an LTE system. According to the present disclosure, provided is a communication method for a terminal in a wireless communication system, the communication method comprising the operations of: transmitting information, indicative of permission to output a banner onto a screen of a terminal, to a server of a network operator; receiving a key, used to filter discovery code, from the server of the network operator; receiving the discovery code from at least one Access Point (AP), and filtering the received discovery code by using the key; requesting banner information, obtained through the filtering of the discovery code, from the server of the network operator, and receiving the banner information in response to the request; and outputting a banner onto the screen by using the received banner information, and transmitting a report on the output of the banner to the server of the network operator. 본 개시는 LTE와 같은 4G 통신 시스템 이후 보다 높은 데이터 전송률을 지원하기 위한 5G 또는 pre-5G 통신 시스템에 관련된 것이다. 본 개시는 무선 통신 시스템에서 단말의 통신 방법에 있어서, 상기 단말의 화면 상 배너(banner) 출력의 허용을 지시하는 정보를 네트워크 사업자 서버에게 전송하는 동작; 디스커버리 코드를 필터링하는데 사용되는 키를 상기 사업자 서버로부터 수신하는 동작; 적어도 하나의 AP(access point)로부터 디스커버리 코드를 수신하고 상기 키를 이용하여 상기 수신된 디스커버리 코드를 필터링하는 동작; 상기 필터링된 디스커버리 코드에 대한 배너 정보를 상기 사업자 서버에게 요청하고 상기 요청에 대한 응답으로 상기 배너 정보를 수신하는 동작; 및 상기 수신된 배너 정보를 이용하여 상기 화면 상에 배너를 출력하고, 상기 배너의 출력 보고를 상기 사업자 서버에게 전송하는 동작을 포함하는 방법을 제공한다.
