The present invention provides a tunnel having a water spraying type cooling system using a finishing material having fireproof and water storage functions, which easily cools the inside of a long tunnel by installing a finishing material having fireproof and water storage functions on the ceiling of the tunnel and allowing the finishing material to absorb sprayed cooling water, and cost-efficiently and uniformly maintains the temperature of the long tunnel, such as an undersea tunnel, and a construction method thereof. 내화(Fireproof) 기능 및 저수(Water Storage) 기능을 갖는 내화저수 마감재를 터널의 천정에 설치하고, 내화저수 마감재가 물분무(Water-Spraying) 방식으로 분무된 냉각수를 흡수하여 장대터널의 내부를 용이하게 냉각시킬 수 있고, 또한, 해저터널과 같은 장대터널의 온도를 경제적으로 일정하게 유지할 수 있는, 내화저수 마감재를 이용한 물분무 방식의 냉각 시스템을 구비한 터널 및 그 시공방법이 제공된다.
