Summary: | According to an embodiment of the present invention, disclosed is a method to control a load based on demand response, which comprises: a step of acquiring information on power reduction demand volume from a demand response server; a step of acquiring information of momentary power volume which is consumed in a load; a step of comparing the momentary power volume and the power reduction demand volume to generate a certain level of demand response value; a step of successively determining if each load participates in demand response or not in accordance with priority by load based on the generated demand response value; and a step of controlling operation by load in accordance with the generated demand response value in relation to the load which is determined to participate in demand response. Control includes a control into different operations by load in accordance with the demand response value. The present invention aims to receive the power reduction demand volume, to control the power consumption of each load, and to efficiently reduce power volume.
