The present invention relates to a large-screen display control apparatus using a sub-display based on a touch screen and a method thereof. The apparatus may include a sub-display interlocking part, a screen adjusting part, and a touch data processing part. A large-screen display is remotely controlled by using a sub display which supports a users touch screen interface. The purpose of the present invention is to smoothly provide the variety of services provided by the large-screen display. 본 발명은 터치스크린 기반의 서브 디스플레이를 이용한 대화면 디스플레이 제어장치 및 그 방법에 관한 것으로 서브 디스플레이 연동부, 스크린 조정부, 터치 데이터 처리부를 포함할 수 있으며, 이를 통해 사용자가 가지고 있는 터치 스크린 인터페이스를 지원하는 서브 디스플레이를 이용하여 대화면 디스플레이를 원거리에서 제어하여 대화면 디스플레이에서 제공하는 다양한 서비스를 원활히 제공받을 수 있는 제어 장치 및 제어 방법을 제공하는 것에 그 목적이 있다.
