The present invention relates to a temporary electronic device which utilizes a glass based interposer, processed by using an ion-exchange process to increase vulnerability, and includes a trigger device, operatively mounted on the surface thereof. An integrated circuit (IC) die is attached to the interposer, which is then mounted in a package structure. The interposer, under normal operation states, contributes to a connection of the IC die to package pins and bolls to be operated. During a temporary event, such as a time when unauthorized tampering is extracted, a trigger signal is transmitted to the trigger device, so that the trigger device can generate an initial crack applied to a glass-based interposer substrate.
