The present invention provides a device for producing float glass, wherein the device contribute to producing high quality thin plate glass by controlling pressure changes or external air invasion in a float bath and a dross box. The device comprises: a float bath for accommodating melted metals; a slowly cooling path for receiving glass ribbons molded in band plate shape on the melted metals; a dross box installed between the float bath and the slowly cooling path; and a drape installed in the dross box, and disposed in the top of a plurality of lift-out rolls for returning glass ribbons to the slow cooling path from the float bath.
