The present invention relates to a washing machine. The washing machine comprises: a cabinet which forms the outer shape of the washing machine; an outer tub which is formed in a cylinder shape having a front open surface in the bottom surface of the cabinet to receive washing water therein and is arranged to be inclined to the bottom surface of the cabinet; an inner tub which is installed inside the outer tub to be rotated and is formed in a cylinder shape separated from the inner surface of the outer tub to receive laundry therein; and a scoop which protrudes from the outer circumference of the inner tub to the inner surface of the outer tub and disperses remaining water stagnant in the outer tub. 본 발명은 세탁기에 관한 것으로, 외관을 형성하는 캐비닛; 상기 캐비닛의 하면에서 전면이 개구된 원통 형상으로 형성되어 세탁수를 수용하며, 상기 캐비닛의 하면과 경사지도록 배치되는 아웃 터브; 상기 아웃 터브의 내부에 회전 가능하게 장착되며, 상기 아웃 터브의 내측면과 이격되는 원통 형상으로 형성되어 내부에 세탁물이 수용되는 이너터브; 상기 이너 터브의 외측 둘레면에서 상기 아웃 터브 내측면으로 돌출되며, 상기 아웃 터브에 정체된 잔수를 분산시키는 스쿱을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
