The present invention relates to a method for producing a multifunctional peptide having excellent wrinkle alleviating and skin whitening effects from Angelica gigas NAKAI which is an herbal medicinal material. Angelica gigas NAKAI is dried and pulverized, and an Angelica gigas NAKAI protein is extracted by a buffer solution including sodium dodecyl sulfate and glycerin and is hydrolyzed by using a protein decomposing enzyme. Also, a peptide having excellent wrinkle alleviating and skin whitening effects is sorted from peptides fractioned and separated by an extracorporeal ultra-filtration method, so a multifunctional peptide is produced. The method of the present invention can contribute to scientification of herbal medicine, and is expected to be useful in the cosmetic industry in which a multifunctional peptide material is sought for. 본 발명은 한약재 당귀로부터 피부 주름개선 및 미백효과가 우수한 복합기능성 펩타이드를 제조하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 한방소재 당귀를 건조 파쇄하고, 도데실 황산 나트륨과 글리세린을 포함하는 완충액으로 당귀단백질을 추출하고, 단백질 분해효소를 이용하여 가수분해하고, 한외여과법으로 분획분리된 펩타이드 중에서, 피부 주름개선 및 미백효과가 우수한 펩타이드를 선별하여, 복합기능성 펩타이드를 제조하였다. 본 발명을 통하여 당귀펩타이드의 제조는 한방의 과학화에 기여할 것이며, 복합기능성 펩타이드 소재를 찾고 있는 화장품산업에도 유용하게 이용될 것으로 기대된다.
