The present invention relates to a novel phosphorus-based compound used as a flame retardant. The present invention further relates to a production method thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a novel phosphorus-based compound which is polymerized by undergoing ring formation and ring opening steps via simple reactions and a temperature rising process, thereby exhibiting excellent heat resistance and flame retardancy. 본 발명은 난연제로 사용할 수 있는 신규 인계 화합물 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 간단한 반응과 승온과정을 통해 링의 형성과 링의 오픈과정을 거쳐 중합될 수 있는 신규 인계 화합물에 관한 것으로, 내열성과 난연성이 매우 우수하다.
