According to the present invention, a waterproofing and water repellent natural rope has enhanced durability by making an eco-friendly waterproofing liquid and a water repellent liquid get adsorbed and coat a natural yarn obtained from phloem, vein, or fruit of a plant. More particularly, a natural yarn is cleaned and dried, and the dried natural yarn is settled in a waterproofing liquid, thereby having a waterproofing liquid layer formed. The natural yarn with the waterproofing liquid layer is dried, and is woven to form a waterproofing and water repellent rope. When used in an aquafarm, the prepared rope does not sink by making various natural yarns adsorb a waterproofing liquid. When used as a guiding rope in a mountain trail, the prepared rope is not degraded, or does not have a reduced strength by preventing absorption of moisture. 본 발명은 식물의 인피나 엽맥, 과실에서 얻어지는 천연원사에 인체에 무해한 친환경적인 방수액 및 발수액을 흡착, 코팅시켜 내구성을 연장시킨 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 천연원사를 세척하여 건조하고, 건조된 천연원사를 방수액에 침적하여 방수액층을 형성시켜 건조한 후 엮어서 방수발수로프를 구성하여, 다양한 천연원사에 방수액을 흡착시켜 양식업장의 양식로프로 사용시 수분 흡수로 인해 가라앉는 것을 방지하고, 등산로의 가이드로프로 사용시 수분의 흡수를 방지하여 부패되거나 강도가 저하되는 것을 방지하는 효과가 있다.
