The present invention relates to a film deposition device which positions a base material on one side across an opening inside a vacuum chamber, includes a material keeping unit to keep a film deposition material on the other side, scatters the film deposition material to the atmosphere with plasma beam, and deposits the film deposition material on the surface of the base material. The film deposition device comprises: a plurality of film thickness control plates arranged to be able to reciprocate in a direction to increase and decrease an opening area of the opening; and a driving unit to drive and control each of the film thickness control plates outside the vacuum chamber. Thus, the film deposition device capable of evenly adjusting a film deposition thickness by increasing and decreasing the opening area between the base material and the film deposition material in a vacuum is provided. Moreover, provided is the film deposition device capable of maximizing productivity by maintaining the uniformity of the film deposition thickness for a long time. 본 발명은 진공챔버 내에서 개구부를 사이에 두고 일 측에 기재가 위치하고 타 측에 성막재료를 보유한 재료보유부가 구비되며 플라즈마빔으로 상기 성막재료를 기상으로 비산시켜 상기 기재의 표면에 성막하는 성막장치에 관한 것으로서, 상기 개구부의 개구면적을 증감시키는 방향으로 왕복이동 가능하도록 배열되는 다수의 막두께조절판; 상기 진공챔버 외부에서 상기 막두께조절판들 각각을 구동 조작 가능하게 하는 구동부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이에 의해, 진공유지 상태에서 기재와 성막 재료 사이의 개구 면적을 증감시켜서 성막 두께를 균일하게 조절할 수 있는 성막장치가 제공된다. 더불어 기재와 성막 재료 사이의 개구 면적 증감을 정밀하게 조절할 수 있는 성막장치가 제공된다. 또한 성막 두께의 균일도를 장시간동안 유지할 수 있도록 하여 생산성을 극대화할 수 있는 성막장치가 제공된다.
