The present invention relates to an electronic commerce system which supports an electronic commerce via wireless communications based on a dedicated application between a user terminal and a seller terminal by means of electronic gift certificates registered in the user terminal, and an electronic commerce method. Specifically, the present invention provides an electronic commerce system and an electronic commerce method using electronic gift certificates. The method comprises the steps of: (a) issuing an electronic gift certificate from an electronic gift certificate issuing server; (b) registering the electronic gift certificate in a user terminal having a user application and the electronic gift certificate issuing server activating a virtual account tied to the electronic gift certificate; (c) transmitting a payment request of transaction amount through the virtual account to the electronic gift certificate issuing server, from at least one among the seller terminal and the user terminal via the communication between the seller terminal where a seller application is installed and the user terminal; and (d) the electronic gift certificate issuing server transmitting payment information to at least one among the user terminal and the seller terminal, and deducting the transaction amount from the virtual account and paying the same to the seller. 본 발명은 사용자 단말에 등록된 전자상품권(electronic gift certificate)을 매개로 사용자 단말과 판매자 단말 간 전용앱 기반의 무선통신을 통한 전자상거래를 지원하는 전자상거래시스템 및 전자상거래방법에 관한 것이다. 구체적으로 본 발명은 (a) 전자상품권발행서버로부터 전자상품권이 발행되는 단계; (b) 사용자 앱이 설치된 사용자 단말에 상기 전자상품권이 등록되고, 상기 전자상품권발생서버에 의해 상기 전자상품권과 연동하는 가상계좌가 활성화되는 단계; (c) 판매자 앱이 설치된 판매자 단말과 상기 사용자 단말 간 통신을 통해 상기 판매자 단말과 상기 사용자 단말 중 적어도 하나로부터 상기 전자상품권발행서버로 상기 가상계좌를 통한 거래금액의 지불요청이 전송되는 단계; 및 (d) 상기 전자상품권발행서버에 의해 상기 사용자 단말와 판매자 단말 중 적어도 하나로 결재정보가 전송되고, 상기 가상계좌로부터 상기 거래금액이 차감되어 판매자에게 지급되는 단계를 포함하는 전자상품권을 이용한 전자상거래방법 및 전자상거래시스템을 제공한다.
