Disclosed are a recommended stock service system, which can provide customized stock information with a user who wants to invest in the stock market, and a recommended stock service method using the same. The recommended stock service system comprises a recommended item selecting unit, a main control unit, an interested item storage unit, and an event notification unit. The recommended item selecting unit selects recommended items, using stock market information provided from the outside. The main control unit checks a connection with a smart terminal of any user to provide a basic image to the smart terminal, provides the selected recommended items to the smart terminal when an item recommendation signal is received from the smart terminal, and receives at least one item selected from the selected recommended items from the smart terminal. The interested item storage unit stores items received from the main control unit as interested items. The event notification unit notifies the smart terminal of the generation of a preset event when the preset event for the interested item occurs.
