The present invention relates to an electronic device. According to an embodiment, the present invention comprises: a communications module for requesting device information to at least one close electronic device, located within a scope where it can communicate with the electronic device, and receiving the same; and a control module for analyzing the features of content by using content information, when a content providing event is created, analyzing the features of adjacent electronic devices by using device information, and determining at least one device to provide content for users, based on the analysis results of the features of content and adjacent electronic devices.
