Summary:Suggested are an architectural heritage modeling device and a method thereof capable of making the most of a three-dimensional digital architectural heritages characteristics and intuitionally modeling the same by using a touch screen UI of a smart mobile device in a place such as a cultural asset field, where it is difficult to use a PC and existing S/W. The suggested device comprises: an actual measurement floor plan arrangement unit to display an actual measurement floor plan including information of a member for forming an architectural heritage on a touch screen; a member model to produce a three-dimensional member model by performing the modeling based on a plurality of points inputted through the touch screen; a database to store the member model; and a member arrangement unit to arrange the member model in place based on the actual measurement floor plan. 문화재 현장과 같이 PC 및 기존 S/W 등을 사용하기 곤란한 장소에서 스마트 휴대기기의 터치 스크린 UI를 이용하여 3차원의 디지털 건축 문화재의 특성을 살리면서 직관적으로 모델링할 수 있는 건축 문화재 모델링 장치 및 방법을 제시한다. 제시된 장치는 건축 문화재를 구성하는 부재의 정보를 포함하는 실측도면을 터치스크린상에 디스플레이하는 실측도면 배치부, 터치스크린을 통해 입력되는 다수의 점을 근거로 모델링을 수행하여 3차원의 부재모델을 생성하는 부재모델 생성부, 부재모델을 저장하는 데이터베이스, 및 부재모델을 실측도면을 근거로 제 위치에 배치하는 부재 배치부를 포함한다.
