The present invention provides an operation method of a brake system. The operation method of a brake system comprises: a step of determining a first pressure difference between current pressure and previous pressure of a wheel brake cylinder is larger than a set first threshold; a step of estimating estimated pressure of the wheel brake cylinder when the first pressure difference is larger than the first threshold; a step of comparing whether or not a second pressure difference between the current pressure and the estimated pressure is larger than a second threshold; and a step of estimating that the remaining pressure exists inside the wheel brake cylinder to perform a remaining pressure removing logic when the second pressure difference is larger than the second threshold. 본 발명은, 휠 브레이크 실린더의 현재 압력과 이전 압력에 대한 제1 압력차가 설정된 제1 임계값보다 큰지 판단하는 단계, 상기 제1 압력차가 상기 제1 임계값보다 크면, 상기 휠 브레이크 실린더의 추정 압력을 추정하는 단계, 상기 현재 압력과 상기 추정 압력 사이의 제2 압력차가 설정된 제2 임계값 보다 큰지 비교하는 단계 및 상기 제2 압력차가 상기 제2 임계값보다 크면, 상기 휠 브레이크 실린더 내에 잔압이 존재하는 것으로 확인하여 잔압 제거 로직을 수행하는 단계를 포함하는 브레이크 시스템의 동작방법을 제공한다.
