Summary: | The present invention relates to a scintillator for reducing an optical loss in detecting a radioactive ray, and a manufacturing method thereof. The scintillator for detecting a radioactive ray comprises: a radioactive ray receiving unit which is made of a substance for absorbing a radioactive ray and is formed in a square configuration; and a cross-section converting unit which delivers detected light, which is generated in the radioactive ray receiving unit, to a light detector. Moreover, a method of manufacturing a scintillator for reducing a loss in detected light, which is delivered to the light detector, comprises the steps of: forming a radioactive ray receiving unit which is made of a substance for absorbing a radioactive ray and is formed in a square configuration; and forming a cross-section converting unit which delivers detected light, which is generated in the radioactive ray receiving unit, to the light detector. According to the present invention, a loss in detected light can be minimized by making an area of a radioactive ray receiving surface to be different from that of a surface which touches the light detector.
본 발명은 방사선 검출시 광손실 감소를 위한 섬광체 및 그 제조 방법에 관한 것으로서, 방사선을 흡수하는 물질로 이루어지고 정방형 형태로 이루어지는 방사선 수광부; 및 상기 수광부에서 발생된 검출광을 상기 광 검출기로 전달하는 단면 변환부로 이루어지는 방사선 검출을 위한 섬광체를 제공한다. 또한, 광 검출기로 전달되는 검출광의 손실을 감소시키기는 섬광체의 제조 방법에 있어서, 방사선을 흡수하는 물질로 이루어지고 정방형 형태로 이루어지는 방사선 수광부를 형성하는 단계; 및 상기 수광부에서 발생된 검출광을 상기 광 검출기로 전달하는 단면 변환부를 형성하는 단계로 이루어지는 방사선 검출을 위한 섬광체 제조 방법을 제공한다. |
