Summary:The present invention relates to a nickel catalyst to manufacture hydrogenated caster oil having an iodine value of 2.0 or less by using a nickel catalyst. In the present invention, an effective nickel catalyst is manufactured by repeatedly treating a nickel catalyst with reduction and oxidation to suit the demands from consumers who need a surfactant of a higher quality, and to manufacture hydrogenated caster oil containing less amount of odorous components. The hydrogenated caster oil having an iodine value of 2.0 or less has less odor and low reactivity, thereby being useful to manufacture a surfactant of a high quality. 본 발명은 좀 더 높은 품질의 계면활성제를 원하는 수요자의 요구를 맞추고, 냄새성분이 적은 수소화 캐스터 오일을 제조하기 위하여, 니켈촉매를 환원/산화 반복 처리하여 효과적인 니켈촉매를 제조하고 상기의 니켈촉매를 이용하여 낮은 요오드가를 갖는 캐스터 오일을 제조하는 것으로, 요오드가가 2.0 이하인 수소화 캐스터 오일을 제조하기 위한 니켈 촉매에 관한 것이다. 요오드가가 2.0 이하인 수소화 캐스터 오일은 냄새가 적으며 반응성이 낮아서 높은 품질의 계면활성제를 제조할 수 있다.
