The present invention relates to a substrate, and a manufacturing method thereof. The substrate comprises: a transparent substrate layer; and a temperature adjusting layer arranged on a bottom surface of the substrate layer. The substrate of the present invention can remarkably improve the ability to adjust the temperature of a surface, and durability of the temperature adjusting layer. Favorably, the substrate layer is formed of any one among polyvinyl chloride (PVC), a thermoplastic olefinic elastomer (TPO), and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). 본 발명은 기재 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 투명의 기재층; 및 상기 기재층의 하부면에 마련되는 온도조절층을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이에 의해, 표면온도 조절 및 내구성을 현격하게 향상시킬 수 있는 기재 및 그 제조방법이 제공된다.
