The present invention relates to a mobile terminal which has at least a portion of a display unit capable of being twisted or bent. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the mobile terminal includes: the display unit which operates in either a first state or a second state which has different radiuses of curvature; and a control unit which converts the display unit from a first state to a second state based on connection of a call in the first state, and recovers the display unit in the second state to the first state when the connection of the call is terminated in the second state. 본 발명은 디스플레이부의 적어도 일부가 휘어지거나 구부러지는 것이 가능한 이동 단말기에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 이동 단말기는, 서로 다른 곡률반경을 갖는 제1 상태 및 제2 상태 중 어느 하나의 상태로 동작하는 디스플레이부 및 상기 제1 상태에서, 전화가 연결되는 것에 근거하여 상기 디스플레이부를 상기 제1 상태에서 상기 제2 상태로 전환하고, 상기 제2 상태에서 상기 연결된 전화가 종료되면, 상기 제2 상태인 상기 디스플레이부를 상기 제1 상태로 복원하는 제어부를 포함한다.
