Summary:The present invention relates to a method for polishing small grains, comprising the following processes: obtaining gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA)-germinated brown rice by carrying out GABA germination treatment on small grains and then drying the same; and polishing by processing the obtained GABA-germinated brown rice into polished rice. in addition, the polishing process is carried out by comprising a porous barrel and a polished roll rotatably disposed in the porous barrel. Formed in the porous barrel are a plurality of ring-shaped projection parts which has a hole at the center and projects toward the inside of the porous barrel. Furthermore, the polishing process involves the use of a polishing machine which has a cutting blade formed in an inner circumference of a hole in a front end of the ring-shaped projection parts. 미립의 도정 방법은, 미립에 가바 부화 처리를 실시한 후에 건조시켜 가바 부화 현미를 얻는 공정과, 얻어진 가바 부화 현미를 정백미로 가공하는 도정 공정을 구비하고, 상기 도정 공정은 다공통과, 그 다공통 내에 회전 가능하게 배치 형성되는 정백 롤을 구비함과 함께, 상기 다공통에는 그 다공통 안을 향하여 돌출하고 중앙에 구멍을 갖는 원환상 돌출부가 복수 형성되며, 또한, 그 원환상 돌출부의 선단의 구멍 내주에 절삭날이 형성되어 이루어지는 정미기를 이용하여 도정을 실시한다.
