Summary: | The present invention relates to a two stage turbo charger system and a method for controlling a two stage turbo charger system, wherein the system is operated by a boot pressure required by an engine to have rapid and definite response characteristics and to simplify a structure. The system comprises: a high pressure turbine driven by exhaust gas discharged by the engine; a low pressure turbine driven by exhaust gas discharged after the high pressure turbine is driven; a low pressure compressor rotating by the low pressure turbine to primarily compress intake air; a high pressure compressor rotating by the high pressure turbine to secondarily compress the intake air; and a compressor bypass valve controlling opening or closing of an intake bypass pipe which makes air, discharged by the low pressure compressor, bypass the high pressure and flow toward an intake manifold.
본 발명은 2단 터보 차저 시스템 및 2단 터보 차저 시스템의 제어방법에 관한 것으로서, 엔진으로부터 배출되는 배기가스에 의해 구동되는 고압 터빈과, 상기 고압 터빈을 구동한 후에 배출된 배기가스에 의해 구동되는 저압 터빈; 상기 저압 터빈에 의해 회전하여 흡입공기를 1차로 압축하는 저압 컴프레셔와, 상기 고압 터빈에 의해 회전하여 흡입공기를 2차로 압축하는 고압 컴프레셔; 및 상기 저압 컴프레셔에서 토출된 공기를 상기 고압 컴프레셔를 우회하여 흡기매니폴드를 향해 유동시키는 흡기바이패스배관의 개폐를 조절하는 컴프레셔 바이패스 밸브를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다. |
