Summary:A wearable display apparatus according to an embodiment may include a first prism which is located in front of the eyes of a user, controls a path of incident light to allow a displayed virtual image to reach the eyes; a second prism which is combined with the first prism and reduces the distortion of a real image reaching the eyes of the user; and a coating layer which is interposed between the first prism and the second prism, and adjusts brightness in inverse proportion to the brightness of surroundings, thereby increasing the visibility of the virtual image. So, the visibility of a restored image can be improved. 착용형 디스플레이 장치의 일 실시예는, 사용자의 안구 전방에 위치하고, 입사되는 광의 경로를 조절하여 상기 안구에 디스플레이되는 허상이 도달하도록 하는 제1프리즘; 상기 제1프리즘과 결합하여 사용자의 안구에 도달하는 실상의 왜곡을 줄이는 제2프리즘; 및 상기 제1프리즘과 상기 제2프리즘 사이에 개재되어 주위의 밝기에 반비례하여 밝기가 조절됨으로써 상기 허상의 시인성을 증가시키는 코팅층;을 포함할 수 있다.
