According to the present invention, a non-powered hopper opening and closing device opens and closes an inlet of a hopper in accordance with movement of a tripper car supplying a fuel to the hopper through a belt conveyor and a chute. The non-powered hopper opening and closing device comprises: a touch bar installed on one side of the tripper car; an elastic unit installed to be moved forward and rearward to be withdrawn while coming in contact with the touch bar; a conversion unit connected to the elastic unit to convert a linear motion of the elastic unit into rotation of the elastic unit; and a cover unit linked to the rotation generated by the conversion unit to open and close the hopper. 본 발명에 의한 무동력 호퍼 개폐장치는, 벨트 컨베이어와 슈트를 통해 원료를 호퍼에 공급하는 트리퍼카의 움직임에 따라 호퍼의 투입구를 개폐하는 트리퍼카용 무동력 호퍼 개폐장치에 있어서, 상기 트리퍼카의 일측에 설치되는 터치바; 상기 터치바에 접하여 후퇴될 수 있도록 전후진 가능하게 설치되는 탄성부; 상기 탄성부에 연결되어 상기 탄성부의 직선운동을 회전운동으로 변환시키는 변환부; 및 상기 변환부에서 발생된 회전운동에 연동되어 상기 호퍼를 개폐하는 커버부; 를 포함한다.
