Summary:The present invention provides an apparatus to measure a volume of hot compacted iron (HCI) dropped and charged into a melting furnace through a charging-down pipe, during production of molten pig iron, in a FINEX process. The apparatus comprises: a radiation source unit irradiating an outer surface of the charging-down pipe with radiation; a radiation detecting unit detecting an amount of radiation which penetrates the charging-down pipe; an HCI calculating unit to calculate an amount of HCI charged into a furnace, based on the amount of penetrated radiation; and a display unit to display a value of the calculation results of the HCI calculating unit. According to the present invention, the apparatus can precisely measure an amount of material charged into a furnace. 본 발명은 용선공정 중 용융로 장입 다운파이프를 통해 상기 용융로 내로 자유낙하하여 장입되는 괴성화철(HCl)의 장입량을 측정하는 파이넥스 용융로 공정에서의 원료 장입량 측정 장치로서, 상기 용융로 장입 다운파이프의 외관에 방사선원을 조사하는 방사선원부; 상기 용융로 장입 다운파이프를 투과한 투과 방사선량을 검출하는 방사선 검출부; 상기 투과 방사선량을 이용하여 상기 괴성화철(HCl)의 장입량을 산출하는 괴성화철 투입량 산출부; 및 상기 괴성화철 투입량 산출부의 결과값을 표시하는 표시부를 포함한다.
