The present invention relates to a system for providing personal product wearing style information using an avatar, which provides an avatar corresponding to the real size of a customer body, provides feature information, such as the color, material, or size of each personal product through a QR code, enables virtual experience of a fitting state of a personal product selected during shopping and worn by an avatar, by using augmented reality and an operating method thereof, and enables a customer to simply and accurately determine and purchase clothing having a style suitable for the customer′s preference. The system includes a smart terminal scanning the QR code of a personal product, and enabling a user to confirm a state in which a 3D image of the personal product selected by a user is worn by a 3D avatar through augmented reality content; an integrated service server connected to the smart terminal, collecting and managing information on standards including the resolution of a touch display unit and a transfer rate of data via a communication network, determining a streaming download bit rate, and controlling and managing the entire operation of the system; a detailed personal product information server inputting QR code information, searching for and providing detailed clothing information including the per-model size, color, material, producer, factory location, and manufacture date of a personal product corresponding to the QR code information; and a 3D avatar server generating and managing a 3D avatar corresponding to a real size by using the real size information of each part of the body input from the smart terminal. 본 발명은 고객 신체의 실제 사이즈에 대응하는 아바타를 제공하고 각 신변제품의 색상, 재질, 크기 등 특성 정보는 큐알코드로 제공하며 쇼핑중 선택된 신변제품을 아바타가 착용하는 피팅 상태를 증강현실을 이용하여 가상체험하며 취향에 적합한 스타일의 의류를 간편하고 정확하게 결정 쇼핑하도록 하는 아바타를 이용한 신변제품 착용 스타일 정보 제공 시스템 및 그 운용방법에 관한 것으로 신변제품의 큐알코드를 스캔하고 3 차원 아바타에 의하여 선택된 3 차원 이미지 신변제품이 착용된 상태를 멀티미디어에 의한 증강현실 콘텐츠로 확인하는 스마트단말기; 스마트단말기와 접속하며 터치표시부의 해상도가 포함된 규격, 통신망을 경유하는 데이터 전송속도 정보를 수집 관리하며 스트리밍 다운로드 비트레이트를 결정하고 시스템 전체 운용을 제어와 관리하는 통합서비스 서버; 큐알코드 정보를 입력하고 큐알코드 정보에 대응하는 신변제품의 모델별 사이즈, 색상, 재질, 생산자, 공장위치, 제조일자가 포함된 의류상세정보를 검색 제공하며 선택된 신변제품의 3 차원이미지를 제공하는 신변제품 상세정보 서버 및 스마트단말기로부터 입력된 신체 각 부위의 실제 사이즈 정보를 이용하여 실물 크기에 대응하는 3 차원 아바타를 생성하고 관리하는 3차원 아바타 서버를 포함하는 특징이 있다.
