The present invention relates to a tourbillon mechanism for a timepiece movement capable of having a thin thickness. The tourbillon mechanism comprises: a carriage (12), an escapement mechanism (3), and a balance mechanism (2) which are mounted on a structure of the timepiece movement in order to be able to rotate around a tourbillon axial line (Z_0). The balance mechanism includes a spring (14) and a balance wheel (16) which are installed in the carriage in order to rotate around the tourbillon axial line. The escapement mechanism comprises: an escape wheel (5) which has teeth unit (9); and a pallet lever (7) which includes pallet stones (17, 17a, 17b) formed to be interlocked with the teeth unit. The pallet lever is mounted on a carriage, and is coupled with the carriage to be able to rotate by a pivot device (11).
