The present invention relates to a power and security managing apparatus of a wearable computing device and a method thereof. The power and security managing apparatus includes: a fastened/unfastened state detection unit which detects a fastened/unfastened state of a wearable computing device including a wireless communications unit connecting communications to a predetermined master device; and a control unit which controls activation of the wireless communications unit based on the fastened/unfastened state of the wearable computing device, and automatically controls an alarm output and a locked state conversion based on whether or not the master device is explored at the activation state of the wireless communications unit, or whether or not the communications is connected to the master device.
