Summary: | According to an embodiment of the present invention, a three-dimensional image display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix, and a viewpoint dividing unit that dividing an image displayed by the display panel into images corresponding to a k number of viewpoints. The viewpoint dividing unit defines the pitch of a pixel in a row direction thereof as Hp, and the pitch of a pixel in a column direction thereof as Vp, and when m and b are positive integers, and includes a plurality of viewpoint dividing units at an inclined angle satisfying the following formula, which is VA=tan^(-1)((bxHp)/(mxVp)), based on the column direction of the pixel. The width of a display panel region, observed by each of the viewpoint dividing units at an optimal observation distance, satisfies 2n/m x Hp. Thus, the resolution of a three-dimensional image displayed on a non-glass type three-dimensional image display device can be optimized.
