Summary:The present invention relates to a technology forming a device structure to improve outcoupling efficiency when light from an emissive layer of an organic light-emitting device (OLED) is extracted to the outside of the OLED. The present invention provides a process of manufacturing an OLED which includes, on a transparent substrate, flat double thin-film layers having high and low-refractive index thin-film layers, wherein the high-refractive index thin-film layer having a refractive index higher than that of the transparent substrate is formed flat, and then the low-refractive index thin-film layer is formed thereon. The device structure further including the flat double thin-film layers having the high and low-refractive index thin-film layers improves the outcoupling efficiency of the OLED. 본 발명은 유기 전계 발광 소자의 발광층에서 생성된 빛을 소자 외부로 추출하는데 있어서 광 추출 효율을 높이기 위한 소자 구조 형성기술에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은, 투명한 기판 위에 평탄한 고굴절/저굴절률 이중 박막층들을 더욱 구비한 OLED 제작공정으로, 투명기판의 굴절률 보다 굴절률이 높은 고굴절률 박막 층을 평탄하게 성막한 후, 그 상부에 저굴절률 박막층을 성막한다. 이러한 평탄한 구조의 고굴절률 박막 및 저굴절률 이중 박막층을 더욱 포함하는 구조는 OLED 소자의 아웃커플링 효율을 향상시킨다.
