A display device comprises: a plurality of pixels arranged on a display area in a row direction and a column direction; a data line extended in a first direction and connected to pixels of a k^th row and a (k+1)^th row wherein k is a natural number; a gate line extended in a second direction crossing the first direction and connected to the pixels; a gate signal line extended in the first direction and electrically connected to the gate line; and a gate driving unit arranged adjacently to a first long side of the display area, arranged in a first peripheral area having a first width, and configured to apply a gate signal to the gate signal line.
