Summary: | Disclosed are a method and an apparatus to digitally detect radiation which converts radiation detected by a receiver into an electric signal; digitally process an electric signal without an analog signal processing process; and simultaneously detects a plurality of radiation rays to simplify a structure, and quickly detects a type of radiation. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method to digitally detect radiation comprises: a step of converting radiation into an electric signal if the radiation is detected; a step of measuring a maximum voltage of the converted electric signal; a step of setting a voltage of the converted electric signal to zero if a maximum voltage is measured; and a step of determining a type of the radiation based on the maximum voltage.
