Summary:Disclosed are a method and an apparatus to digitally detect radiation which converts radiation detected by a receiver into an electric signal; digitally process an electric signal without an analog signal processing process; and simultaneously detects a plurality of radiation rays to simplify a structure, and quickly detects a type of radiation. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method to digitally detect radiation comprises: a step of converting radiation into an electric signal if the radiation is detected; a step of measuring a maximum voltage of the converted electric signal; a step of setting a voltage of the converted electric signal to zero if a maximum voltage is measured; and a step of determining a type of the radiation based on the maximum voltage. 디지털 방식의 방사선 검출 방법이 개시 된다. 본 발명의 일실시 예에 따른 디지털 방식의 방사선 검출 방법은 방사선이 감지되면 상기 감지된 방사선을 전기 신호로 변환하는 단계; 상기 변환된 전기 신호의 최대 전압을 측정하는 단계; 상기 최대 전압이 측정되면 상기 변환된 전기 신호의 전압을 0으로 설정하는 단계; 및 상기 최대 전압을 기초로 방사선 종류를 판단하는 단계를 포함한다.
