Summary:The present invention relates to a method for controlling network connection of a communication terminal. More specifically, the present invention relates to a method for controlling network connection of a communication terminal, which is suitable for selectively blocking automatic switching from a first network to a second network in the connection of the communication terminal, and an apparatus thereof. The method for controlling network connection of a communication terminal according to the present invention comprises the steps of: monitoring if switching to a second network occurs when a communication terminal executes data communication using a first network; checking if a target device connected to the communication terminal is a registered switch avoidance device when a switch try to the second network is detected; switching the first network to the second network if a result of checking shows that the target device is not a registered switch avoidance device; and maintaining connection with the first network if a result of checking shows that the target device is a registered switch avoidance device. 본 발명에 따른 통신 단말의 네트워크 접속 제어 방법은, 통신 단말이 제 1 네트워크를 이용한 데이터 통신을 수행할 때 제 2 네트워크로의 전환 여부를 모니터링하는 과정과, 상기 제 2 네트워크로의 전환 시도가 검출될 때, 상기 통신 단말에 연결된 대상 기기가 등록된 전환 회피 기기인지를 체크하는 과정과, 체크 결과, 상기 등록된 전환 회피 기기가 아닐 때, 상기 제 2 네트워크로 연결을 전환시키는 과정과, 체크 결과, 상기 등록된 전환 회피 기기일 때, 상기 제 1 네트워크와의 연결을 유지시키는 과정을 포함할 수 있다.
