Summary:Provided are a splittable conjugate fiber which is split by a weak external force about a high-pressure water column, and is split into a microfiber; and a non-woven fabric having excellent wiping properties. The splittable conjugate fiber comprises 60-90 wt% of a component A, and 10-40 wt% of a component B, wherein the component A and the component B are incompatible, the component A or the component B is an acrylonitrile polymer. The splittable conjugate fiber has the sectional shape vertical to the fiber axis of a flat shape having flattening of 3-20, inclusively, and has a conjugate structure having a sea part of the component A and an island part of the component B.
