Summary:A buoyancy device of a riser and an LNG FPSO ship using the same include: the riser where one end lifted from the ocean floor is connected to a connection part of a hull, and a number of first electromagnets are arranged continuously to have different polarities in a vertical direction on the outer circumference; a buoyancy material which is combined to the outer circumference of the riser, and has a number of second electromagnets continuously arranged corresponding to the first electromagnet to have different polarities in the vertical direction on the inner circumference; and a power supply part which inverts the direction of a current delivered to one direction of the first electromagnets continuously and then moves the second electromagnet along the riser, and then attaches the first electromagnets to a fixed section of the second electromagnets by generating repulsive force using flow of the current only. The buoyancy device of the riser can prevent accumulation of floating matters on a curved section or damage to the curved section even in case the riser is curved excessively.
