The vacuum cleaner of the present invention includes: a photographing part generating a photographing image by photographing a floor; a storage part storing multiple pieces of floor information and inhalation intensity information of the vacuum cleaner corresponding to each of the pieces of floor information for identifying different kinds of floors; and a control part searching for floor information, corresponding to the generated photographing image, among multiple pieces of floor information, and controlling the inhalation intensity of the vacuum cleaner by using the inhalation intensity information corresponding to the searched floor information.
